Child Crisis Arizona held its 6th Annual Wine, Women and Horses charity event on Saturday, March 5 at noon at Turf Paradise in Phoenix--now a tradition.

More than 400 Valley women wearing beautiful and/or outrageous hats lit up Turf Paradise for an enjoyable afternoon of live horse racing, a hat contest with prizes, lunch, raffle prizes, silent auction and fashion--raising $50,000.

Black, white and red polka dot decor was the theme of the day, and hats off to a stunning array of lovelies who had fun while keeping in mind a growing need for additional services to help our children.

Child Crisis Arizona’s services include a multitude of programs housed within the three promises – Prevent, Advocate, Support.  More than 8,000 children and families will be impacted this year through the organization’s shelter, education and intervention services. Child Crisis Arizona operates the only emergency shelters for children in the Valley, and is a leading resource to license, train and support foster and adoptive families and provides early childhood education through a preschool, parenting classes, workshops and playgroups.
