By Myra Richman..........K2 Adventures held its 1st Annual "Masquerade Ball" on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 at the Paradise Valley Doubletree Resort.
The evening began with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, recipient charity presentations, dog adoptions, live auction, comedy entertainment and dancing. Emcees for the evening were husband and wife team Tim Ring and Fay Fredricks.
Benefiting K2 Adventures Foundation's charities were: Arizona Humane Society, Hacienda Healthcare, Mwereni Integrated School for the Blind in Africa and Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation.
K2 Adventures Foundation is a qualified 501(C)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to collaborate with charities serving children with special needs by providing funds that will be used for educational enrichment as well as fulfillment through outdoor camps and activities. The goals of K2 Adventures Foundation are to make a difference in the lives of children, not just in the United States, but the world. This event benefits Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation, Hacienda Healthcare, Arizona Humane Society, and the Mwereni Integrated School for the Blind in Africa.
